Welcome to Neston in Cheshire

Neston is a historic market town in Cheshire, and Parkgate is Cheshire’s only “seaside resort!” It is situated on the part of the Wirral Peninsula that remains in the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. Parkgate is located to the north west and the villages of Little Neston and Ness to the south of the town.

Our website contains local information of interest to both residents and visitors including news and events, details of community organisations, travel and transport and Town Council services.

   Town Council Statement – 24th February 2026.

 
Neston Town Council has invited Redrow Homes to attend a public meeting to discuss the potential new housing development at Raby Park Road. Unfortunately, the invitation has not been accepted at this stage, but if this situation changes please be assured that we will arrange a public meeting and publicise it locally.

The closing date for comments is 16th March 2026 and we would encourage residents to let Redrow Homes know their views at this early stage.

As soon as any related planning application is received, the Town Council will hold a public meeting to discuss the application and formulate a Town Council response to be submitted to the Planning Authority.
